About Us

I spent over two decades building a career that I loved.  I was a single mom to three kids. Everything was pretty fantastic and just as it should be. And then my oldest son got hurt on the job, he was 20. This incident left him permanently disabled as the result of the traumatic brain injury.  GAME CHANGER!  A week after my son’s accident, still in a coma, my daughter told me she was pregnant.  Another GAME CHANGER!! Six months later, the morning of my daughter’s baby shower I find out that I’m pregnant. Seriously? How is this even possible. Needless to say, today I get the amazing gift of caring for my oldest son, and I get to experience what it is to be a stay-at-home mom to my youngest. 

When I was 39 my oldest told me that he wanted to learn how to knit.  I have had the joy of learning with him. Today he and I have a knitting/crochet channel on YouTube, we knit together, and when the mood strikes us we dye yarn together.
